The Type CTRL-GPS-RECEIVER is an option for the 99B automatic tower clock controller. It provides time accurate to 1 x 10E-6 seconds.The GPS receiver receives time from the GPS satellite constellation which surrounds the earth. The receiver is standard on all of our Howard and Seth Thomas Street Clocks (pre-mounted on the top of the clock). It must be located with a partial view of the sky. The receiver is provided with a 150′ (45 meter) cable. The GPS receiver must be factory programmed.

Extended cable note: The GPS Data In wire, shown as Blue on the 99B unit, is a green wire with blue shrink wrap on the end.
GPS receiver note: The GPS receiver turns ON when the yellow wire is tied to ground. On the GPS short cable, this is done by tying the yellow wire to the black ground wire – this is done at the factory.
