Synclock was I believe a Trademark for Everett Edgcumbe – which seems to have licensed the manufacturer of Warren Telechron self-starting hysteresis synchronous motors and coils. We recently purchased a fire damaged clock and some literature from the firm. From the literature the motors seem to be used on everything from small wall clocks to tower clocks – and manufactured in the UK.
