Tower Clocks are Part of Award Winning Building

Congratulations to The Architectural Team, architects for the Bourne Mill Apartments in Tiverton Rhode Island. The Bourne Mill Apartments were recently announced as the 2010 winner of the J. Timothy Anderson Award for Excellence in Historic Rehabilitation for the Best Historic Rehabilitation Utilizing Low-Income Housing Tax Credits. The awards were presented by the National Housing and Rehabilitation Association in conjunction with the National Trust Community Investment Corporation. One of eight historic buildings honored with the awards, the revitalized mill features four 96” diameter, back-lighted Electric Time Company tower clocks as its crown jewel. The apartments were completed in November 2009 and were built to LEED Silver specifications.
